I just finish watching Singapore idol, lots of thoughts went through my mind.
I wish I was in a competition like this - Pursuing something you really want and giving it your best. When trails come your way, you learn to pick yourself up again. I like the whole “I will not give up”, “ This is what I really want”.
Then again, I realize, I am in a competition.
The judges commented that some were too laid back; they cannot hesitate and must know that this is really what they want. But I was blown away by what Ken said to this girl. I think her name is Tanna. Anyway, she was kicked out and she asked for another chance. And ken replied was, I am sorry, the judgment has been made.
The judgment has been made
The judgment has been made
The judgment has been made
Can you imagine, when you stand before the panel of judges where God and Jesus are seated and they say to you “I cannot see that you really love me and this is what you really want. You are too apprehensive and laid back. I am sorry, you are out. Your journey ends here.” And when you turn and ask for another chance, he says to you “The judgment has been made”.
This time, the result or whatever the judges say does not end the idol dream.
It ends YOU and your eternality.
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?
Run in such a way as to get the prize.
- 1 Corinthians 9:24
