The class had a conversation with Felix, my facilitator ytd.
He's the best facilitator ever. Every one loves him. Hahaha!
So anyway, he was telling us not to choose your good friends as your team members for FYP cause they we will all end up as enemies…

Got me thinking, actually things would work out if only all are committed to communicate.
There are 5level of communication…

1. Cliché
2. Report
3. Opinion
4. Feelings
5. Maximum truth
- Confess
- Repent
- Forgive
- Rebuke
- Assurance

Many people including couples, married couples, friends, etc all start fighting at level 3 – opinion. For example, the girl wants to go Thailand, but the boyfriend disagree cause he feels that it is too dangerous, blah blah.
To avoid all trouble, many just stop at level 1 and 2. “So, how’s your day? What you do? Have you eaten?”

If opinion is tough, what more feelings? Having to tell your boyf you feel insecure, you are afraid of losing him, etc. Many times, people just react cause they are too afraid to show others how they truly feel.

Maximum truth is used for confrontation… say, you are upset with someone so you confess to the person… then the other part say sorry… the other person forgive... rebuke is used if you need to correct some stuff, etc… lastly, assurance to heal the friendship/relationship.

For example,
Girl A: hey babe, I think what you said last night was hurting (confess)
Girl B: Oh, I am sorry… (repent)
Girl A: I forgive you, bless you and love you(forgive)
Girl B: next time be more careful or sensitive, or you can say it in a nicer way or something…(rebuke)
Girl A: I still love you (assurance)
Girl B: me too…(assurance)

Just a brief example, this is such a common scene in yyb. Hee. But it takes courage for girl A to speak up. But no relationship will ever work if only we dare to communicate truthfully. But neither will whatever I said work unless the two think alike. Imagine if you anyhow confess then the other party just diss you off. OUCHHH.

My point here is just, communicate. That’s the only way to make anything works. You might be surprise. A lot of times we misjudge. Like… you think the motive of that person was to hurt you cause of certain action he/she did, but the truth often isn’t that way.

I am typing this not cause I am the best communicator but I know how is it like to communicate and not.

I will pray for the success of my FYP team.
I hope we will all communicate at the maximum truth :)

I just finish watching Singapore idol, lots of thoughts went through my mind.

I wish I was in a competition like this - Pursuing something you really want and giving it your best. When trails come your way, you learn to pick yourself up again. I like the whole “I will not give up”, “ This is what I really want”.

Then again, I realize, I am in a competition.

The judges commented that some were too laid back; they cannot hesitate and must know that this is really what they want. But I was blown away by what Ken said to this girl. I think her name is Tanna. Anyway, she was kicked out and she asked for another chance. And ken replied was, I am sorry, the judgment has been made.

WOOOHOOOOOO!

I seriously think the new RP system is quite awesome!

in the past, I have to attend lesson for 16 weeks
after week 4, i will have test every tue and thursday!
cause 4UT for each module and I take 5 modules!
which means 20 paper to take within 12weeks!!!!

but now, UT 1 and 2 are spread out evenly
10 paper within 11weeks, more reasonable uhhhh
& UT 3 are like O level.
just come school, take paper, go home!
so only attend lesson for 15weeks
& the last week is for UT 3

so much better isn't it?!?! :)
